Dozen Acre Farm
Situated on a hill in beautiful Hiram, Ohio...
...Dozen Acre is a (non-certified) Organic family owned and operated farm.
We have various breeds of luxurious fiber sheep: Leicester Longwool, Olde English "Babydoll" Southdown, Cotswold, Merino, and Icelandic. We lovingly raise small quantities of each variety. We breed for correct conformation and follow breed standards. We are voluntarily enrolled in the Scrapie Program and all of our sheep are Registered. Waiting/wish lists are in place for ordering lambs, or adults.
We also breed fantastic show-quality llamas. These majestic and gentle giants are terrific to add to any farm in need of a guardian, or just a loving companion. Cria babies usually arrive in the Spring, Summer and Fall.
We raise Dewlap Toulouse Geese and Curly White Feathered (and now the rare colored)
Sebastopol Geese.
And finally...we have beautiful multi-colored Silkie Chickens that lay pink shelled eggs! Our little balls of fluff are all show-quality and have come from the best breeding Silkie stock across the country! Fertile eggs and adults are available year round.
