Dozen Acre Fiber Farm is a family owned and operated Hobby Farm located in Hiram, Ohio.
We currently raise the adorable "Teddy Bear Face" Olde English "Babydoll" Southdown sheep, the magnificent (Horned) Icelandic sheep, the elegant Leicester Longwool sheep and the "too cute for words" Angora Goats.
We believe with such gentle creatures
grazing our property, guardians are needed while the Shepherdess is
away...our Llamas serve as protectors. Our gentle Llamas know when it
is time to spring into action and sound the alert. Every evening they
round up the sheep and send them into their shelters. We do have Llama
guardians for sale throughout the year.
Pictured here is Kodachrome
"Kody" (Left) and One Adam 12 "Adam" (Right).
We
also share the farm with our three dogs: Ben, Maxwell, and Samurai who patrol
the outside of the barn, while our two barn cats: Pickles and Sammie
take care of the inside.
Each Spring we have registered lambs and registered goat kids
available for sale. Typically, lambing/kidding season begins in March
and ends in May. We occasionally have yearlings and adults for sale as
well. Prices can be quoted for individual
animals or for a discounted priced for the entire flock of your choice, just call or send an email.
Thank you for stopping by!
